We are developing a business in collaboration with fishermen on Ieshima, using fish caught in consideration of the marine environment as a limited resource.
This initiative received the Hyogo Governor's Award in the Hyogo Creative Business Grand Prix 2016.
The Hyogo Creative Business Grand Prix is an initiative by Hyogo Prefecture to support the dissemination and development of sales channels for outstanding products, technologies, and pioneering service businesses, and the Governor's Prize is awarded to products and services recognized as particularly outstanding among these.
The reasons for our selection are as follows.
(1) Do not overfish in order to protect the richness of the sea.
(2) Fish that are landed are distributed as high-grade marine products and enjoyed with great taste.
(3) Establish traceability of marine products from catch to consumer.
Based on the "Harikai-style fishery business model" for which we received the Governor's Award, we are engaged in activities to contribute to the building of industrial infrastructure in least developed countries.
